Beavers Battle at Coe Invitational
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA — Blackburn College Wrestling continued its inaugural season with a strong showing at the Coe College Invite. Several wrestlers earned wins, secured pins, and placed in their brackets as the program builds momentum heading into the end of the semester.
CEDAR RAPIDS, IA — Blackburn College Wrestling continued its inaugural season with a strong showing at the Coe College Invite. Several wrestlers earned wins, secured pins, and placed in their brackets as the program builds momentum heading into the end of the semester.
Blackburn Wrestling demonstrated major strides in performance, toughness, and competitive maturity. Head Coach provided the following statement on the team's performance:
"The guys really elevated their performance from our last tournament. I was happy with our fight and intentionality to the positions we wanted to be in. Every one of our wrestlers is focused on getting better each day, and this tournament was a great way to test ourselves. We expect to continue to make significant jumps as we finish the semester."
