Wrestling Hosts Eureka In Season Opener

CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Wrestling opened their 2025-26 season with a dual meet against St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference foe Eureka College and came away with three victories. 

Freshman Kaden Long captured victory at 165 with an 18-16 decision and gave the Beavers three points. 

At 285, sophomore Remington Hiser won by fall at the 1:37 mark to give the team six points.

Freshman Jonas Casillas also picked up a win at 125. 

The Beavers will return to action Saturday to take part in the Millikin Open.
