CARLINVILLE, IL -- Blackburn College Women's Basketball team was defeated by the Principia College Panthers in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action, 78-41.
The Beavers were led by junior Ashanti Jones with nine points, followed by freshman Brooklyn Driggers with eight. The Beavers managed to grab 33 rebounds throughout the game with freshman Kenadee Frey, sophomore Zoe Mitchell, and junior Miley Kwiatkowski getting five a piece for BC.
The Beavers return to action Wednesday to take on Fontbonne University in more SLIAC action.
