On January 11th, at Blackburn College, the Blackburn Women's Basketball team took on the Webster University Gorloks in a conference clash. The Beavers were unable to crack the relentless full court pressure by the Gorloks and found themselves down early. The Gorloks opened the game with an 11-0 run and the Beavers would never come an closer as Webster University won by a final score of 75-43.
Leading the way for the Beavers in scoring was Candace Pollock with ten points. Leading the team in assists was Brooke Meyer and Alexia Duncan with two each. Team leading rebounder was Elisabeth Johnston with six boards. The team shot 32% from the field and 25% from beyond the three point line.
Leading the Gorloks in scoring was Natalie Busscher with 15. Leading the team in assists was Taylor Lucas with three, and leading the team in rebounding was Busscher with six. The Gorloks shot 49% from the field and 33% from beyond the three point line.
