Men's Runners Take Part in Twilight Meet

ELSAH, IL -- Blackburn College Men's Cross Country took part in the Principia College Twilight Meet where they tied with Lyon College for fourth place. 

Leading the Beavers was junior Collyn Oberkfell with a time of 33:39.30 on the 8K course. 

Freshman Izaiah Watkins, 34:31.30, and Sam Schoenweis 36:25.80 were the next two BC runners. 

Senior Kobe Patton cross in 36:47.20 while junior Ulises Espinoza finished in 36:58.20. 

Sophomore Sebastian Bautista rounded out the team's competitors while posting a new personal record. 

The team returns to action on Friday, October 17 to run in the Bradley University Pink & White Classic.
