Rob Steinkuehler will begin his fifth season as men's head soccer coach at Blackburn College· Steinkuehler served as the assistant coach for four seasons at his alma mater.

Steinkuehler is a 2009 graduate of Blackburn College, receiving the Bachelor of Arts degree in physical education while earning Magna Cum Laude honors.

As a player at Blackburn, Steinkuehler was a 3-year letter-winner, and two-time MVP of the team. He was also a member of the St.Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference All-Conference Team and All-SLIAC Academic All-Conference Team.· He was also voted· Blackburn’s newcomer of the year after his first season playing. 

Steinkuehler also was the recipient of the B-Man award in 2009, which is the highest honor the athletics department bestows on a student-athlete.· The award represents all of the athletic programs at Blackburn and recognizes just one male and one female athlete per school year.

A 2004 graduate of Jerseyville High School in Jerseyville, Illinois, Steinkuehler was named to the Mississippi Valley Conference All-Conference Team.· Steinkuehler was also named to the Alton-Telegraph all-area team as well as the Belleville News-Democrat all-area team.· He was also named the panthers Most Valuable Player twice as well as the offensive player of the year.
