Harris, Burrows Named Athetes of the Week

CARLINVILLE, IL- Sophomores India Harris and Sam Burrows earned Blackburn College Athletes of the Week.

India Harris led the women's basketball team as the top scorer with 19 points each in their compeitions against Westminster and Spalding. She also added 17 rebounds and shot 64% overall.

Sam Burrows was a standout at the Jim Green Invite this past weekend for the Men's Track team. He set a personal and school record for the 800m with a time of 2:11.72.

Your men's and women's basketball teams are in the Beaver Dome two more times this season this Thursday and Saturday competing against MUW and Lyon. The Men's Wreslting team are competing in SLIAC Championships on Saturday.
