Tuetken, Grissom Named Athletes of the Week

CARLINVILLE, IL-- Junior Caidy Tuetken and sophomore Odis Grissom earned Blackburn College Athletes of the Week.

Tuetken lead the women's basketball team with a total of 23 points in past week's matchups vs MUW and Lyon. She drew 10 fouls in Thursday night's game against MUW. She also had 14 rebounds overall.

Grissom had 26 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals in their games this past week. Odis put up 15 points in their battle against MUW, he was crucial in scoring points later in the second half to help keep pace with the Owls. 

The men's and women's basketball are back in Dawes this for more SLIAC action againt Webster tomorrow and Principia on Saturday.
