Accolades Continue to Come In for Stepp

Jonathan "Bubby" Stepp, a left-handed pitcher from Georgetown, Texas, was named the National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association Pitcher of the Week.  Stepp became the first pitcher in Beaver baseball history to record a no-hitter. Stepp went seven innings in a 7-0 win over Eureka, allowing no hits while walking just one batter and striking out six.

Stepp is the second Blackburn pitcher to receive this award.  Kyle Rensing pitched a 13 inning 1-0 shutout over Greenville College in 2004 to earn this award.
